Queen Sirikit Park is one of the pleasant public parks in the center of the city. It is located on Kampaengphet 2 Road, Jatuchak Distict, between Vachirabenjatas Park (Rot Fai Park) and Jatuchak Park. The Park was built according to the resolution of the cabinet in 1991. Ministry of Transport was assigned to build the park in the land of State Railway of Thailand at the south side of Rot Fai Golf Course in order to celebrate the auspicious occasion of Her Majesty the Queen’s 5th cycle birthday anniversary on 12 August 1992.

There are a lot of places for relax in the park such as “the pool” in the shape of “ส” (the Thai alphabet “Sor”) and “S” which are the first letter of Her Majesty the Queen Sirikit in Thai and English. Colorful flowers were planted around the pool. The “Sor” is encircled by the yellow color of golden shower and “S” is encircled with the purple color of Giant Crape-myrtle. “The Botanical Garden” in the park exhibits various kinds of plants from Thailand and foreign countries. “The Lotus Field” is the large field in which visitors can sit and relax. Various kinds of lotus from Thailand and foreign countries were planted in the pool in this area. The field was decorated with ancient pots and European style garden. “Bangkok Children's Discovery Museum” provides exhibitions and activities for Children’s knowledge and recreation. There are also parks that have various kinds of plants for nature lovers such as 76 Provinces Royal Auspicious Park, Mai Hom Aquilaria malaccensis Park, and Park of Trees Associated with Royal Institution.

The Park is opened daily from 5 a.m. to 7 p.m.
